Manhattan Center Blood Drive

Event

Join us as to make a difference and save lives.

There is no substitute for human blood. Your donation can go toward impacting the lives of up to three patients! One out of three people will need blood in their lifetime. From natural disasters to unforeseen catastrophes, emergency hospital procedures to lifelong battles with chronic diseases such as sickle cell anemia, the demand for blood is constant. The supply is not. And since there is no substitute, only volunteer blood donors can roll up their sleeves and save lives.

» Watch the story of a New Yorker whose life was saved by blood donors like you.

Please be sure to bring a photo ID and to eat before donating. New York Blood Center (NYBC) donor cards will help expedite the process.

All donors must weigh at least 110 pounds and be feeling well, and all tattoos must be older than 12 months.

If you have questions on medical eligibility, call the New York Blood Center at 800.688.0900 or click a topic below for a list of restrictions:

Thank you for saving lives with New York Blood Center!
