About the Speaker

Dr. Thomas J. Germano is the Director of the Labor-Management Center. He directed Cornell University’s Industrial and Labor Relations Extension on Long Island from 1976-2003. In addition, he is an active arbitrator and mediator who has conducted more than 2,000 hearings in the public and private sectors. He serves on labor panels for the American Arbitration Association, the National Mediation Board, the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service and numerous other local and national industry panels.
