This one day colloquium is dedicated to exploring the effects of exposure to war-related traumatic experiences and strategies for addressing those who struggle with them.
Presentations and workshops will be given by Dr. Sue Grand of New York University and Kristopher Goldsmith, a veteran, and the faculty in the professional schools of Adelphi University on topics ranging from the cultural context of trauma to refugees’ experiences to adolescent trauma and coping.
