The Changing Nature of War and PeaceThe Changing Nature of War and Peace initiative speaker will be Jeffrey Sammons, Ph.D., Professor of History at New York University.

Dr. Sammons is the author of Beyond the Ring: The Role of Boxing in American Society. He is also the co-author of Harlem’s Rattlers and the Great War: The Undaunted 269th Regiment and the African American Quest for Equality with John H. Morrow, Jr.

The event is co-sponsored by the Adelphi University Center for African, Black and Caribbean Studies, along with the Collaboration Project. Part of the Changing Nature of War and Peace initiative.
