The Center for Student Involvement is facilitating a Panther Day of Service. The goal of the service event is to give back to the communities that surround Adelphi University.
Breakfast will be served at 9:00 a.m., and there will be a mandatory Orientation/Opening Ceremony at 10:00 a.m.. For the remainder of the day students will work with their peers, faculty and staff at different service locations around the island on projects such as outdoor work, arts and crafts with the elderly, animal care, etc. Transportation can be provided. Registration for sites are first-come, first-served for groups of 10−20 depending on the location.
Faculty, staff and students are invited to participate!
In order for students to get credit for the event toward the Leadership Certificate Program, they had to have registered on Handshake. This event will provide credit for three Leadership Certificate Program workshops.
