Promoting Academic Integrity

Event, Faculty Development Event, Workshop

Promoting academic integrity through instructional design and educational technology.

Lunch will be provided.

Academic honesty and integrity are vital to student success. We will look at why students cheat and plagiarize, examine different kinds of dishonesty, and discuss successful strategies for promoting ethical behavior in any learning environment—whether it’s face-to-face, blended or online.

This workshop will share tools you can use to mitigate plagiarism and cheating on exams.

“Our reporting statistics indicate 62% of violations are plagiarism and 24% involve cheating on exams.” (Stockman)
