Join us in bringing the Gordon F. Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies family together on a day to celebrate psychology, our community and our founder, while teaching current and future students what the Institute offers.
At the event, we will celebrate the 100th birthday of Gordon F. Derner, Ph.D., and hear from keynote speaker Hakeem Rahim, a National Alliance on Mental Illness representative who will talk about living with mental illness. The event will also feature small discussion groups, an alumni roundtable and faculty discussion, including talks from experts in the fields of addictions counseling, clinical psychology, human resource management, mental health counseling and school psychology.
