This program is based on the TEDxAdelphiUniversity 2017 talk by Jeffrey Reynolds, Ph.D., titled “Smacked By the Storm: How Long Island Can Recover From Its Heroin Crisis,” which focused on the effects of addiction on individuals and families.

Join Dr. Jeffrey Reynolds for this insightful program, with keynote address by Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas. Interdisciplinary expert panels will discuss prevention, treatment and recovery.  

At the event, Adelphi University’s Department of Public Safety and Transportation will supervise an official drop-off location for expired medications.
