Members of the Adelphi community perform and display artistic representations of protest and celebration as an opening to a year-long series of events addressing The Changing Nature of War and Peace.

Join us for a performance of students, featuring songs that represent the themes of freedom and social justice.

The day also features a speech and discussion by Dr. Cornel West, acclaimed public speaker, activist and author of 19 books. Dr. West will be introduced by Christine Passarella, Educator, Kids for Coltrane.

Please note that this event will begin at 8:00 p.m. (It has been rescheduled from its previously advertised 7:00 p.m. start time.)

Please note that seating for Dr. West’s speech is limited and advanced registration is recommended; limit 2 tickets per registrant. Register online now.
