The Ruth S. Ammon School of Education and the New York State Education Department (NYSED) funded technical assistance centers; the Early Childhood Direction Center for ECDC-LIU, the Long Island Parent Center for Community Inclusion at Long Island University and the Regional Special Education Technical Assistance Support Center, have collaborated for the purpose of providing best practices and research- based methods to ensure an equitable education for preschoolers from culturally and linguistically diverse families with special needs.
