Adelphi University Presents Frances Kendall
"Whites In America… Where Do We Stand?"

Dr. Kendall to speak on Diversity at an Adelphi town hall meeting October 16th

Adelphi University is pleased to present a Town Hall Meeting entitled "Whites in America… Where Do We Stand?" on Wednesday, October 16 from 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM in The University Center Ballroom presented by Dr. Frances Kendall, the renowned national expert on organizational change who has worked for nearly twenty-five years as a consultant specializing in issues of diversity. The meeting will be free and open to the public. A follow-up meeting for the Adelphi community with Dr. Kendall will be held at 5:30 PM in the same location.

Dr. Kendall has applied her distinguished academic record to creating hospitable work environments for all employees, designing and developing training programs throughout the United States on issues of difference such as race, gender, or management style, and has facilitated group management in meetings and retreats. Based in California, she has contributed to many seminal publications on the subject of diversity, and is the author of "Diversity in the Classroom: New Approaches to the Education of Young Children," "Diversity Issues in the Workplace," and "Celebrating Our Differences."
