Adelphi University's "Ambassadors at Adelphi Series" Presents Talks by Permanent Representatives to the United Nations

Adelphi University is pleased to present the Ambassadors at Adelphi lecture series. The series is sponsored by the Adelphi University International Initiatives Committee. Two permanent representatives to the United Nations are featured for fall 2002, Ambassadors Pierre Schori of Sweden, and Jean-David Levitte of France.
Ambassador Schori will open the fall 2002 lecture series with a speech on "Global Challenges in the 21st Century: Swedish Perspectives" on Thursday, October 24. The Honorable Pierre Schori is a diplomat, author, and executive who has served as chairman of the Olaf Palme Memorial Fund, head of the European Union Election Observation Mission in Zimbabwe, chairman of the Swedish Institute in Egypt, and a member of the European Parliament.
Our second presentation in this series, one week later on Thursday, October 31, will feature Ambassador Levitte speaking about "World Order Today: The French View". The Honorable Jean-David Levitte has served with distinction in Asia, Oceania, Africa, Europe, and the United Nations.
The presentation by Ambassador Schori, on Thursday, October 24, will begin at 1:30 PM in Adelphi's Alumni House, 154 Avenue, Garden City. Ambassador Levitte's presentation, on Thursday, October 31, will begin at 3:00 PM in the Ruth S. Harley University Center, Room 201. These events are free and open to the public.
