The Adelphi Symphony Orchestra Featuring Conductor and Composer Christopher Lyndon-Gee on Friday, November 21, 2003 at 8:00 PM

Adelphi University opens its door to a night of music featuring conductor and composer Christopher Lyndon-Gee, the Adelphi Symphony Orchestra and the Adelphi Chorus under the direction of Michael Hume. The performance will take place on Friday, November 21, 2003 at 8:00 PM in the Ruth S. Harley University Center’s Ballroom. The event is free and open to the public.

Grammy-nominated conductor, composer and Adelphi University professor, Christopher Lyndon-Gee will conduct the Adelphi Symphony Orchestra as they perform the world premiere of his symphony The Temple of Anthena Pronaea. There will be a choral accompaniment to the symphony by the Adelphi Chorus under the direction of Michael Hume. Other pieces that will be performed by the orchestra are Ralph Vaughan Williams’s Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis, and Anton Bruckner’s Symphony No. 4 in E flat.
