Adelphi University Presents December Music Series

 Adelphi University is pleased to showcase the talent of its student body during the month of December with free performances by Adelphi's University Chorus and Pop Ensemble.
The Adelphi University Chorus will present a concert of sacred and secular music inspired by the Christmas and Chanukah seasons. The program will include works by Berlioz, Handel, John Rutter, and Lee Hoiby. Selections from Benjamin Britten's ever-popular "A Ceremony of Carols" will also be performed. The chorus of over fifty voices will be conducted by Michael Hume and accompanied by Adrienne Borbely. The performance will be held on Monday, December 5, 2005, at 7:30 PM
The Adelphi Pop Ensemble will perform Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at 8:00 PM. Conductor/arranger Angelo Mussolino leads the ensemble in arrangements of standards, jazz, pop, and rock - with a touch of holiday cheer as well.
