Adelphi University President Dr. Robert A. Scott Selected to Participate in International Higher Education Forum

Adelphi University President Dr. Robert A. Scott has been selected to participate in the Council of Europe's Forum on Higher Education and Democratic Culture: Citizenship, Human Rights, and Sustainability, held in Strasbourg, France. He joins a select group of approximately 300 higher education experts and policy makers from North America, Europe, and other parts of the world.
The forum is intended to increase the awareness and commitment of higher education institutions to developing a democratic culture and sustainable societies.

Since his appointment as Adelphi's ninth president in July 2000, Dr. Scott has built on the University's rich traditions in undergraduate and graduate education and continues to link the liberal arts and sciences with professional programs.
