In conjunction with the fall 2008 opening of its Performing Arts Center (AU PAC), Adelphi University has launched a comprehensive new Web site, http://aupac.adelphi.edu/, offering performance schedules and venue details as well as ticket sales and links to information on Adelphi's renowned programs in theatre, dance, and music. The full-service site provides a rich guide to the numerous events lined up for Adelphi’s impressive new venue.

Already, Adelphi has planned three gala theatre, dance, and music performances in the new center, including one of the first post-Broadway productions of the hit musical RENT, written by Adelphi alumnus Jonathan Larson '82. Fall 2008 speakers include best-selling author and alumna Alice Hoffman '73, '02 (Hon.) and political pundits James Carville and Mary Matalin.

In addition to selling tickets to these and other exciting events, the site enables users to join an event mailing list to receive advance notice of new productions and ticket sales. Site visitors will also find detailed information about AU PAC, including its five performance spaces—concert hall, recital hall, Olmsted Theatre, dance theatre, and black box theatre—and rental information. The site includes a staff list, photos of past events, and links to a full visitor’s guide with maps and directions.

Designed by Adelphi's Web team based on a logo conceived by Solid Design, Inc., the site reflects the elegance of Long Island's newest and most exciting performance venue.

Log on to http://aupac.adelphi.edu/ today for a chance to see what's on stage at AU PAC and join the AU PAC events mailing list.
