Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back.Relay for Life is a program sponsored by the Center for Student Involvement and Campus Recreation and benefits the American Cancer Society.
The objective of Relay for Life is to raise money for cancer research and cancer patients, as well as spread cancer awareness, celebrate the lives of survivors, remember those who lost their lives to cancer, and unite a community in the fight against cancer.
Some of the program activities include:
Participants are not required to remain at the event the entire time, but it is so much fun…you won’t want to leave!
In 2012, hundreds of Adelphi community members attended the first ever Relay for Life to raise over $43,000!
