Reception in the Performing Arts Center lobby from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m..
- Sand artist Joe Mangrum will create a performative, outdoor work of riotous color and complexity the public may observe during its process in front of the Performing Arts Center.
- Mac Premo’s “Dumpster Project,” will open to the public and live on campus between the PAC and Hagedorn for a full year.
- Artist Ariana Page Russell has designed a special temporary tattoo for the Adelphi population that will be distributed on April 17.
- The art club, CHROMA will be conducting a campus wide event as a supporting component of the Ephemeral exhibition and events, with its main aim to encourage cross-departmental connection and collaboration.
On this day, students, faculty, administration and staff will be invited to participate in “chalking up” the campus with both image and text.
This chalking event will take place in front of the Hagedorn Hall sidewalk, starting from the University Center Plaza and leading to the Performing Arts Center. The event will begin at 2:30pm where students will gather and work on the chalking project. There will also be a few surprises!
