Adelphi Named a Top 15 Overperformer by U.S. News & World Report
A study by U.S. News and World Report found that Adelphi is greatly overperforming its undergraduate academic reputation in ensuring student success. The analysis is based on a comparison of the University’s place in the U.S. News and World Report’s 2013 Best College ranking with its peer assessment score. Adelphi’s status as an overperformer is based on key academic indicators such as admissions selectivity, financial and faculty support, alumni giving, and graduation and retention rates.

Adelphi Responds to Hurricane Sandy
Adelphi continues to reach out to the people and communities who are in need of help following Hurricane Sandy. The University’s donation drive has brought in thousands of contributions from as far away as New Mexico. Scores of students, faculty and administrators have made seven trips to assist with recovery in areas of Long Island and Queens, including the Rockaways, Island Park and Long Beach. A video of the Long Beach trip, arranged by the School of Social Work, is online as are photos of the many efforts organized by the Center for Student Involvement.
