Harilyn Rousso is a nationally recognized expert on gender and disability. She is a former co-chair of the Gender Equity Expert Panel of the US Dept. of Education, former Commissioner with NYC Commission on Human Rights. She has served on boards of the Ms. Foundation, the Sister Fund, the National Women's Hall of Fame, the Center for Women Policy Studies and Educational Equity Concepts. She was selected by National Women's History Project as honoree for National Women's History Month in 2003.
