A Conversation About Identity in the Age of Big Data

A Conversation about “Identity in the Age of Big Data”: Building on the ideas explored in this year’s AU Community Reads book, Weapons of Math Destruction, and the film I Learn America (which students and others can watch here by logging into their Adelphi library account), participants will discuss how the use of algorithms and related data-oriented practices impact how we view others and ourselves. This event will be an opportunity to promote dialogue among international and domestic students.

Sponsored by Adelphi University International and the General Education program.
