Hear ye! Hear ye! Dancers, musicians, thespians, singers and artisans, we request your presence at this year’s Arts Conference. On Friday, October 11, 2019, spend the day with us and ignite your creativity. Delve into intensive hands-on workshops in dance, music and theatre at Adelphi’s Performing Arts Center (PAC)—one of the most exceptional performing arts facilities on Long Island. The event also features a keynote speaker!

Ryann Redmond Headshot

This year, Adelphi University is thrilled to welcome Ryann Redmond (currently starring on Broadway as Olaf in Frozen: The Musical) as our guest speaker for A Day with the Arts. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Ryann Redmond received her formal training at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts CAP21 Conservatory. She originated the role of Bridget in the reading, workshop, world premiere, national tour and Broadway production of the Tony-nominated Bring It On: The Musical. She was also thrilled to perform alongside Idina Menzel, Anthony Rapp and LaChanze in the original cast of If/Then in Washington, D.C., and on Broadway. Other favorite roles she has played include: Tracy Turnblad in The MUNY’s production of Hairspray and Smitty in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying at TUTS in Houston, Texas, all to rave reviews. Ryann was recently featured in the world premiere of Ming Peiffer’s Usual Girls at the Roundabout Theatre Company in NYC.
