America Reads/America Counts Orientation Session

Teaching others is one of the most valuable learning experiences. You can get that experience through America Reads/America Counts, a tutoring program that places you in local elementary and middle schools to help children with reading and math.

You’ll work with experienced teachers, have the chance to earn money, and get free transportation to and from school. Whether you’re planning a career in teaching or just want to make a difference in the lives of young people while earning $12/hour, it’s a great opportunity to learn and grow.

Applications to the America Reads/America counts program are currently being accepted through Handshake, but are not required to attend.
