Caroline Wambui Mungai Foundation 5k Walk

Come help us support the children of the Caroline Wambui Mungai School in Wangige, Kenya. Caroline Wambui Mungai was a student at the Ruth S. Ammon School of Education with a passion for helping the children of her native Kenya. Upon her graduation, it was her sincere desire to start a school and home for orphaned children. In her memory, the school was established and also serves as a home for abandoned children. To date, the Mungai’s have helped to raise and educate 27 kids who would not have survived without their help. Dr. Anne Mungai (Ruth S. Ammon School of Education Interim Dean) and Dr. George Mungai, have been passionately caring for the needs of these children ever since and are now preparing to send several of them to college.

So, we need your support! Please join us in our effort to support the education and care of these children.

Hard copies of the registration forms are available at the Ruth S. Ammon main office front desk, located in Harvey Hall, room 124. All donations will be collected at the walk and are tax deductible. The Caroline Wambui Mungai Foundation is a 501 (c)3 organization.

We are planning a fun day with games and prizes.

Thanks so much for joining us! Your participation is going to make a difference in the children’s lives!
