Daffodil Days: Relay for Life Fundraiser

The Adelphi community will join together to support the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life on Friday, April 6, 2018. We would love you to join in the fight at this year’s event.

Another opportunity to help Relay for Life is Daffodil Days. This is an opportunity for everyone to join the American Cancer Society in saving and celebrating lives, and an opportunity to lead the fight for a world without cancer.
  • For a $10 donation, you will receive one bunch of daffodils as a thank you.
  • For a $15 donation, you will receive potted mini-daffodils as a thank you.
  • For a $25 donation, instead of receiving flowers, you can support the Gift of Hope program where volunteers deliver the daffodils to local hospitals on Long Island.
To participate, simply collect donations from your friends, family, co-workers, and/or teammates and place a group order. Send the order form and the money/checks collected to the Center for Student Involvement in University Center, Room 110 by February 5, 2018, at 4:00 p.m. An American Cancer Society Representative will be in touch to coordinate pick up or delivery.
For volunteers and teams supporting events like Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and Relay For Life, Daffodil Days can be used to help fund raise, as the donations can be applied directly to team fundraising.
If you have questions, if you want an order form, or if you want to become a Relay for Life coordinator, make contact at
