Entrepreneurship and Building a Brand


Radio Specialist, Theo Brown, provides radio promotions and marketing nationally and internationally to top labels including: Big 3, Empire, 300, Atlantic, Interscope and Warner Brothers. He was also recently featured in this capacity on VH1. As the National Director of Mix Show/Marketing at Atlantic Records, influencer Theo Brown was responsible for creating awareness of new music and artists throughout the streets, internet, radio, television, mix shows, and clubs. He currently works with major artists such as: Bruno Mars, Kevin Gates, Trey Songz, Meek Mills, Wiz Khalifa, A-Boogie wit da Hoodie, Lil Uzi Vert, PnB Rock, Kodak Black. Previously, at Interscope Records, he promoted a roster of leading artists including: Lady Gaga, Robin Thicke, M.I.A., Soulja Boy Tell Em, Keri Hilson, 50 Cent, Mariah Carey, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Fergie, Common, Timbaland, Gwen Stefani, and Lil John. His expertise has also been called upon by Beats by Dre, for which he drove awareness by enlisting DJs nationally; and the And 1 Mixtape Tour, for which he booked talent and handled marketing and promotions. Theo owns one of the largest college/university event planning companies, TB Events.

Leadership Certificate Program LogoAbout the Leadership Certificate Program

The Leadership Certificate Program is an interdepartmental initiative hosted by the Center for Career and Professional Development, the Center for Student Involvement, the Office of Alumni Relations and the Robert B. Willumstad School of Business.

Its goal is to offer Adelphi undergraduate and graduate students opportunities to develop leadership and professional skills. Participants are able to attend workshops on a wide variety of topics during the course of the year. 


Requirements for Students

To participate in the Leadership Certificate Program, you must RSVP for a minimum of six events. Each student must complete the workshops within the academic year. Events are added throughout the year.
