Fall Kick-Off Cocktail Party

The Adelphi University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics annually hosts a Fall Kick-Off Cocktail Party at the Chateau Briand in Carle Place, N.Y. The event was started in 2008 and has been a success each year raising funds for Adelphi University and the Athletic Department. The dinner is presented by MetLife’s Legacy Advisors,  specializes in serving the financial needs of local business owners and professionals, and their families. As a boutique office of MetLife they enjoy the support of one of the world’s premier financial services institutions, combined with the freedom to offer our clients an array of the best products and services available outside of MetLife as well The annual friend and fund-raising event has featured such special guests as Hall of Famer Rich “Goose” Gossage; former Major League Baseball player and manager, Willie Randolph, Cy Young Award Winner David Cone, St. John’s University’s Lou Carnesca and WNBA President Donna Orender.
