FinTech: The Corporate Innovation Disrupting the Financial Services Industry

Part of the Practitioners’ Perspective Lecture Series.

Svetla Marinova is Vice President of Innovation Management at APG Asset Management US, Svetla has been working in the FinTech Innovation space for the past 7 years. Previously, she was a founding member of S&P Global’s Innovation Lab, and also worked on strategic data sourcing initiatives at Deutsche Bank.

Svetla Marinova graduated from Adelphi’s Honors College in 2010, with majors in Economics and International Studies. She also completed a Master’s degree at Columbia University and holds an Executive MBA from The Wharton School.

There will be a light mixer after the lecture in University Center, Room 216.

This event is part of Adelphi’s Leadership Certificate Program. However, you do not need to be a part of the Leadership Certificate Program to attend this event.

The Leadership Certificate Program is an interdepartmental initiative hosted by the Center for Career and Professional Development, the Center for Student Involvement, the Office of Alumni Relations and the Robert B. Willumstad School of Business.

Its goal is to offer Adelphi undergraduate and graduate students opportunities to develop leadership and professional skills. Participants are able to attend workshops on a wide variety of topics during the course of the year. 

Requirements for Students

To participate in the Leadership Certificate Program, you must RSVP for a minimum of six events. Each student must complete the workshops within the academic year. Events are added throughout the year.
