About the Presenter

Dr. Devin Thornburg, professor and chair of the Ruth S. Ammon School of Education, has had great success in the grant writing field. In Summer 2017 he was the writer of the Beacon-DYCD Community School Grant (PS 109Q) and was awarded $300,000 annually to create after-school programming for students and families in a high-needs school. His work is used by the Office of Sponsored Programs a great deal.
