Lead and They Will Follow: Styles, Skills and Situations

While leadership training is often associated with the field of business, psychology has a lot to teach us about how to work with and manage people effectively. This workshop will focus on the qualities and skills needed to be a good leader, and how to apply these in different situations with different types of people.

About the Speaker

Kate Sapadin

Katherine Sapadin

Kate Sapadin, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist. She currently serves as the Associate Director in the Student Counseling Center at Adelphi, and runs a small private clinical practice in Manhattan.

Kate has been working as a therapist since 1997, and as clinical director / administrative manager for the past ten years. Kate has supervised a range of professionals (from master’s level interns to senior clinical and administrative directors) in a variety of settings (from large urban non-profits to urban and suburban universities). She has also worked as adjunct faculty at St. John’s University in Queens.
