Memories and Legacies of the Triangle Fire

This is the kickoff event for the Triangle Fire Remembrance Project and relates to the subject matter of the freshmen seminar book (Leon Stein’s The Triangle Fire).  The keynote speaker, Charles Kernaghan, is the Executive Director of the National Labor Committee, one of the most visible activist organizations working to end sweatshops.   This event will also include exciting theater, video, and art exhibits and performances.
This event is open to the campus community and the wider public.  

Co-sponsored by the Labor and Education Fund, and Adelphi’s: College of Arts & Sciences, School of Business, Sociology Department, Levermore Global Scholars, Political Science Department, and the Gender Studies minor.
