Music & Astronomy Night

Music & Astronomy Night involves Adelphi University working with the Cradle of Aviation Museum to provide an educational event for young people and the community.

This is the fourth year for the event and the third time that Music has been involved. Physics students from Long Island in both college and high school create films related to astronomy and our music students then compose and perform the music that accompany these films which are shown at CAM’s planetarium.

The methods that the Physics students are using to make the movies are the ones created and tested by our previous Adelphi Students.

Student composers/performers from the Univerisity’s Music Department will be performing a mix of original compositions, covers, and improvisation.
