National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day—Early Drop Off

Participating employees are approved to wear jeans on this day.

This National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is offered to provide the public with an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by properly disposing of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs; no questions asked. The proper disposal of drugs also prevents them from becoming an environmental hazard in our water.

This event is a collaboration by Adelphi’s Student Counseling Center, Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) program and Department of Public Safety with disposal handled by Nassau County Police Department and the DEA.

Part of National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week.

This is an alcohol-free event. #PanthersCheerAlcoholAwareness
