National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

Adelphi University has been chosen as an official drug take-back site.

This National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is offered to provide the public with an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by properly disposing of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs; no questions asked. The proper disposal of drugs also prevents them from becoming an environmental hazard in our water.

Early drop off: A box set-up for your convenience on Friday, October, 26 in the Public Safety office between 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

This event is open to the community and is a collaboration by Adelphi’s Division of Student Affairs and Department of Public Safety with disposal handled by Nassau County Police Department and the DEA.

Part of Alcohol Awareness Month. This is an alcohol-free event. #PanthersCheerAlcoholAwareness
