New York Public Library Behind the Scenes Tour

The lions at the entrance are fabulous and the main reading room is spectacular, but we will also visit the rare book collection.

New York Public Library

This includes Bibles translated by Luther and Tyndal and the first copy of the Gutenberg Bible brought to the US, first folios of Shakespeare, Whitman’s personal copy of Leaves of Grass and 20,000 broadsides, mostly addressing events in early US history. Not to mention that THE Winnie-the-Pooh is in the Children’s Room!

Space is limited to 12 students. You must sign up by Friday, February 7, 2020.
