Physical Activity Leader (PAL) Training

One-day Physical Activity Leader (PAL) Training for Physical Education Teachers, Classroom Teachers, Principals, Administrators and Parents (Champions!)

Registration for this event is full. Please contact if you want to learn about future PAL opportunities.

As the professional development resource within Let’s Move! Active Schools, the Physical Activity Leader (PAL) Learning System is a dynamic, action-focused 12-month program designed to develop and support school champions in their efforts to ensure 60 minutes a day of physical activity for all school-aged youth. This one-day training will kick off the program, ultimately resulting in skilled individuals who will initiate tailored plans of action in their respective school settings.

As a result of completing the PAL Learning System including the one-day in-person training, you’ll be able to:

  • Establish support for implementing a PA initiative (60-A-Day) in your local school district/site.
  • Implement a Comprehensive School Physical Activity Program (CSPAP) tailored to site-specific needs.
  • Demonstrate the effectiveness of site-selected CSPAP components.
  • Serve as a local champion for ongoing support and enthusiasm for Physical Activity for school-aged youth.

Let’s Move! Active Schools is physical activity and physical education solution – powered by an unprecedented national collaboration of leading health and education organizations – to ensure 60 minutes of physical activity is the new norm for schools.
