Senior Citizen Meal Delivery Volunteer Opportunity with Dorot

Brighten the day of a senior citizen by volunteering with the Dorot organization for the day. Deliver a meal package and visit with an older person. This trip engages college students in meaningful service experiences through an innovative program that combines an orientation to community issues and hands-on volunteer work.

Upon arrival, you will be split into teams of two or three and are responsible for your choice of travel (subway/taxi/Uber) to the senior citizen you’ve been assigned to if they are not in walking distance.

This trip includes free transportation from Adelphi to Dorot, located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The bus will leave from the University Center at 9:00 a.m.
