Shattered Silence: Critical Conversations About Intimate Partner Violence in the African American Community

Intimate partner violence is devastating our communities and African American women are bearing the brunt of it. African American women are nearly 2.5 times more likely than White women to be murdered by their intimate partner and they are killed five years younger than the national average.

What is going on?

Join us for an evening of critical conversations designed to explore some of the barriers that African American women experience when seeking help, and learn what we can all do to improve their outcomes.

Whether you’re a clinician, researcher, service provider, community member, member of clergy, or have a friend who is experiencing partner abuse, this is one evening you can’t afford to miss!

The event is free of charge and open to the public. Space is limited so don’t wait.
