Strengths Based Leadership

Event, Registration Required

A growing area of psychology, known as Positive Psychology, incorporates the concept that our natural talents can be developed into strengths and individuals who operate from a position of strength make very successful and effective leaders. Strengths-based leadership involves identifying one’s own individual personality strengths and then becoming aware of how to use your top five strengths to create success in any domain of life including academics, athletics, work and personal relationships. There is no universal set of talents that leaders have in common but all effective leaders use their own strengths to the fullest, whatever those strengths are. This workshop, led by Executive Director of Off-Campus Administration James McGowan, will help each individual to identify their own unique strengths and how to maximize them for success.

This event is part of the Leadership Certificate Program. Prior registration is required to attend.
