Tactility and Touch: Art History Mini-Symposium

Join professors from the departments of art and art history and anthropology:

  • Hannah Allen, assistant professor of photography
  • Hanna Kim, associate professor of anthropology
  • Jen Maloney, associate professor of painting
  • Kellyann Monaghan, associate professor of painting
  • Maya Muratov, associate professor of art history
  •  Christopher Saucedo, professor of sculpture
  • And Jessica Bryant, Courtauld Institute of Art, London

as we explore the various roles tactility plays while we observe, communicate and create art. 

This mini-symposium will be accompanied by a pop-up art exhibition: “Do Not Touch” and “Please Touch.”
