The Conducting Workshop and Concert: From Classical to Contemporary

The Conducting Workshop and Concert is a course that combines intensive conducting training, seminars, discussions and a public performance. It is organized and sponsored by UArtist Music in cooperation with Maestro Donald Schleicher (Professor of Conducting and Director of Orchestral Studies, University of Illinois) and Christopher Lyndon-Gee (Music Director of the Adelphi Symphony Orchestra and multiple Grammy nominee). UArtist Music is a New York based cultural and educational initiative dedicated to support new learning opportunities in the world of cultural diffusion. For more information visit www.uartistmusic.com.

Players from the Adelphi Symphony Orchestra join these young, talented, professional conductors to present selected works by Mozart, Beethoven, Stravinsky and Copland.
