Women in Government: Panel Discussion with Area Lawmakers

Encouraging the Next Generation

Holding the position as an elected official has its challenges; how to deal with these challenges says a tremendous amount about an individual’s character.

Take advantage of an opportunity to learn firsthand from women who work in the government sector. A panel of women will share their experiences about the hard work, dedication, and strong work ethic that compelled them to give back to their community.

After each speaker, Q&A sessions will take place, followed by an opportunity for speakers and the audience to meet and network.

Hosted by Adelphi University and The Honorable Leslie Gross, North Hempstead Town Clerk
